Pioneer Press refute

When ever I purchase a Minnesota newspaper I purchase the Pioneer Press, because if the majority of residence religiously read the other paper there is a high possibility that those readers' perceptions are status que. The publishing of the article by Max Schulz 3-26-09 (Let's at least be honest about renewable energy's costs) disproves my theory.

The Envelope, Please

Living in the frozen surrounds of Minnesota in January a familiar greeting one often hears is, “Global Warming, ha. Where is it?” It was a great mistake for the scientific communities to to rely on the main stream media to present a catastrophic conclusion to the consumption ideology that drives the existence of mass being.

Monticello Nuclear Power Plant

6o Year Life of Nuclear Power Plant Core

Excel Energy is conducting public hearings concerning its proposal to increasing its electrical output from the Monticello, Minnesota Nuclear Power Plant (MMNPP). I attended a meeting held at Saint Cloud State University (SCSU).

Solar Power Satellites

An article published in the Minneapolis Tribune (10l20l08) written by Ben Bova projects one of the potential solutions in resolving the externalities associated with electric energy production by combustion.

Ben's article is not reporting a new proposal; in fact I first read about photovoltaic (solar) cells attached to outer space satellites back in the eighties.

Green Energy

Two interesting energy topics are confronting electric energy users in the Midwest now. The first is a story written by a commercial farm supply retailer and, the other is an electric rate increase in northern Minnesota.

I receive many stories either written or verbal on wind turbines and/or energy conservation. I investigate them all.

9/11-AIG Collapse

The 9/11 Collapse – The AIG Collapse

As I listened to the public/ social pundits analyze the economic turbulence that the AIG collapse inflicted and will continue to cripple everyone's money management system I wonder if the cause of the Wall Street collapse is from the collapse of the Twin Towers that occurred in 2001.

Energy Policy Hubris

The time spent reading and listening to both Presidential contending parties' conventions is reflected as another waste of time. It's not that I expected any differences from the past but; with the rapidly changing ecology along with it's twin, the economy; how do the followers that attended both conventions in Denver and Saint Paul remain so optimistic of their own futures while chanting “change”?

Don't they realize that the change that the U.S.
